About Chef Paul Perea

  

Chef Paul Perea's passion for cooking stems from a rich family heritage. His great grandfather founded TRATTORIA LA MORETTA, renowned as the best seafood restaurant in Ancona, Italy, established in 1897. Growing up immersed in this tradition, Paul learned to prepare and serve elaborate multi-course meals for 2 people, 30 people, or 100 people drawing from authentic Adriatic recipes passed down through generations.


Today, Paul brings this love—agape—for cooking to your home, specializing in gourmet multi-course meals inspired by Italian coastal cuisine. Many of his recipes are influenced by traditional Italian dishes, such as those found in collections of pasta, risotto, seafood, and more.


Generational Tradition

Paul's great grandfather used to close the restaurant twice a year and invite his entire family for 2 days of feasting around New Year's and Easter, and when his family came here in 1947, they kept that tradition growing.  It is Paul's passion to share that same sense of family, tradition, and delicious food with you.
